The painted cuff series all began life as a leather belt. Those belts were then cut, snapped and made into cuffs. The painted part comes into play when I added painted canvas, which has been varnished, for protection. 
 
After crafting the cuff and adding the canvas to this  brown leather cuff, I added stitching with waxed cord. Love these camp style cuffs!
