40x30 on stretched canvas

In my newest body of work, I explore the profound and transformative journey of motherhood as a central theme. The painting "Unveiling the Unseen" depicts a mother and child, with a unique twist that challenges our conventional perception of identity and self. In this piece, the mother lacks a visible face, a deliberate choice I made to symbolize the gradual fading of identity as she dedicates herself to the nurturing and raising of her child. It is a testament to the idea that as a mother, one often gives so much of themselves to their child that their own identity becomes secondary. The act of raising a child can be all-encompassing, often eclipsing one's personal desires, needs, and even the recognition of self.
