Arabic origin that means Sea, Flower, Bitter
Maryam was the last painting completed in the Beloved series. When looking up her name it also means “beloved”. So it's perfect she is named this. I also see her as the beginning of a new series. Her story is that she is moving on from this life to another…she is fading into a new place. Representative of my own journey as I move from the beloved series into this next series of expressive portraits. 3.23.2022
